Services: 10.30 am each Sunday with Junior Church. All age worship takes place on the first Sunday of the month. A children's corner with quiet activities is available at all times and refreshments follow the service. All our children's workers are CRB checked.

We are a warm and loving Christian family with an age range from 6 months to over 90. We aim to be a worshipping, welcoming, caring Christian presence sharing the good news of Jesus within our community.

A community spirit is at the heart of all we do and over 1,000 children and adults cross our threshold each week to attend the many groups that meet on our premises.

We warmly invite you to call in for a cuppa and a chat between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon on the fourth Saturday of each month (not August or December). You will find us at the junction of Park Road and Thackley Road, close to the crossroads at the centre of Thackley.

Midweek groups, ie Monday Mums, Tuesday Fellowship and Thursday House Group, also offer the opportunity for bible study, prayer and discussion.

Room bookings: We are happy to consider bookings for community groups; however, we are unable to take bookings for private parties from beyond our church membership.

We aim to be a worshipping, welcoming, caring Christian presence sharing the good news of Jesus within our community.

In fulfilling our mission we will:

• Carry everything to God in prayer;

• Worship God in a way that is relevant to the whole church family;
• Support and care for those in need in our local area and beyond;
• Encourage understanding between people of all cultures and faiths;
• Encourage  links with other churches and community groups;
• Show the love, joy and peace of Jesus by supporting fair trade and challenging and influencing other issues from a Christian perspective.

In support of this the Minister, Stewards and Church Council will:

• Look upon all who come as valued members of our church family where opinions may be expressed freely;
• Listen and respond to the needs of our community;
• Follow the guidelines and teachings of the Methodist Church;
• Manage efficiently the resources entrusted to them, including people, money and buildings;
• Challenge the church to increased commitment in worship and witness;
• Endeavour to make church relevant to the changing needs of our community;
• Be directed by the Holy Spirit in all of this.
